Spending a semester abroad or off-campus can be one of the most important and transformative experiences of your life. During your sophomore year, you may apply to spend an entire semester studying away for one semester during your junior year.
Whether you choose a program within the United States or in another country, you'll have the opportunity to challenge yourself by adapting to a different environment that can be a crucial and revelatory part of your Liberal Arts education. Cost & Financial Aid
For semester-long Off-168体育平台下载_足球即时比分-注册|官网 Study programs, Wabash College bills the student Wabash's tuition (as if he were on campus), plus the $1,000 Off-168体育平台下载_足球即时比分-注册|官网 Study Fee. Wabash College will then pay the OCS provider for the costs of tuition and academic fees. Your federal and Wabash College Financial Aid applies, as should any outside scholarships you normally receive. If the tuition cost of the program you've chosen is higher than the tuition cost at Wabash, then you will have to pay the difference.
Therefore, for most programs, students pay Wabash tuition to the College and receive applicable aid. Then you will be billed directly by your off-campus study program for room and board costs. (Also, for the Harlaxton College program, Wabash will bill you for BOTH tuition and room and board.) You will be responsible for the cost of your flight/s, souvenirs, extra travel not included in tuition costs, etc. Please clarify costs with the provider, Wabash's Financial Aid Office, and Wabash's Business Office before applying, and make sure that you share cost and billing information with your parents before you apply.
Many program providers offer their own scholarships, so please check your provider's website or contact them to learn more about the funding they offer. You will want to apply for provider scholarships as soon as possible after receiving approval from the Off-168体育平台下载_足球即时比分-注册|官网 Study Committee).
