H-1B Information

In certain circumstances, the College will work with an immigration lawyer to file an H-1B temporary employment petition on behalf of qualified foreign nationals who will perform services in a specialty occupation.  A specialty occupation is one which requires the theoretical and practical application of a body of highly-specialized knowledge to perform the occupation.

Senior Staff, in consultation with immigration counsel, decide which faculty/staff members can be the beneficiaries of an H-1B petition, as not every position at Wabash College qualifies.
